About Franchi Firearms
Franchi got its start as a family-run gunmaking operation in Brescia, Italy, one of the oldest firearm-producing regions in the world. The company built its name during a period of rapid change in the industry, as manufacturers moved from black-powder single shots to repeating firearms using metallic cartridges. Access to the region's metalworking expertise helped Franchi develop a reputation for innovation that continues today.
Over the decades, Franchi's firearms were trusted by both civilian shooters and military forces, including use as a supplier to several NATO countries. The brand became part of the Beretta Holding Group in 1994, joining a family of respected Italian gunmakers while keeping its own identity centered on fit, feel and reliability.
Today Franchi focuses on semi-automatic and double-barrel shotguns built for accuracy and reduced felt recoil, along with the Momentum series of bolt-action rifles designed around ergonomics and a stated accuracy guarantee. Every Franchi firearm sold new is backed by a 7-year warranty, a standout commitment in the firearms industry.
